3 countries you need to visit…

…before they get flooded by tourists!

The world is enormous, and visiting the whole thing is not possible.

For that reason we need to pick what places we would like to visit, but how do we pick a place we’ve never been to? It can be tough, but luckily some places have the right factors that will hit the sweet spot for just about anyone. Variation, culture, safety, and fair prices are some. So let’s take a look at three places I can recommend around the world. Perhaps you’ve been to some and can add some more information based on your personal experiences.

Where should we go next?

Vietnam

Pho is the staple dish of Vietnamese cuisine.

This place is probably the best country in terms of what you get for your money while still feeling extremely safe. With AirBnBs for $200 a month, rich history, and amazing landscape it’s a place you can stay without worrying too much about missing your home. I cannot ignore the cuisine. With a blend of the French and Chinese kitchen together you would be mad not to visit Vietnam. Truly a country with diversity from the snowy Sapa mountains in the north to the sunny island of Phu Quoc in the south.

Croatia

The old town of Dubrovnik. Do you recognize King’s Landing from Game of Thrones?

Croatia aka “Mr. Steal Bosnias Coastline” (check a map if you don’t get it) is one of the hidden jewels of Europe. With beautiful beaches and an amazing Mediterranean vibe, it really soothes your soul. Its central position also makes it very easily accessible to Italy and the rest of the Balkan if you want to take a trip around the region. The food is not only delicious but also extremely cheap. If you have the chance try out some black risotto and “peka”.

Tanzania

The roof of Africa, Kilimanjaro.

Do you love animals? Do you love hiking? The sea? Tasty soups? Then Tanzania is perfect for you. From the busy streets of Dar es Salaam to the historical island of Zanzibar and the mountains of Arusha, the ex-German colony has a lot to offer from both the past and present. A safari, or journey, as it’s called in English is something you’ll never forget. In the Ngorongoro Crater you can see anything from leopards to flamingos if you bring binoculars and a bucket of patience. If you feel bold take a trip up Kilimanjaro too, the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world!

I hope I sparked some “wanderlust” in you. Once the pandemic ends you should check these places out if you haven’t yet! I cannot recommend them enough!
